We have received news from Juigalpa that the Ruach Foundation ended its partnership with Astrid. As we informed you earlier, we were conducting an investigation into the continuity of the Ruach Community Home, see https://www.vivirjuntos.org/van-het-bestuur-vooruitblik/. But Ruach’s sudden decision to fire Astrid was very unexpected and shocking, for us and Astrid.
We are currently trying to come to an agreement with Ruach about the plight of the five permanent residents of the Home. They are our priority. We want to safeguard their good housing and care. We are of course in close contact with Astrid. We fully support her in her search for a viable alternative.
