The Vivir Juntos foundation would like to recruit a board member. Tasks within the Board will be re-distributed. Are you sympathetic towards the home community in Juigalpa? And are you prepared together with us to ensure that this special project will have sufficient funds from the Netherlands during its start-up phase? Then read on!
The main aim of the Vivir Juntos foundation is to find donors and raise funds for the home community in Juigalpa so that they can become independent within 5 years. Currently the Board consists of two people: Jeroen Boggia, acting chairperson and Treasurer, and Niko Tetteroo, Secretary. They are supported by two other volunteers: Annelies Witz (communication) and Michiel Witz (website).
The project in Juigalpa is doing well. For 2016 and 2017 we have reached our minimum financial target. You will find more information in our 2016 Annual Report 2016.
We are looking for someone who:
- enjoys working together for a worthwhile charity
- is reliable in making and honouring arrangements
- is decisive and works with integrity
- preferably has management experience
- preferably has a relevant network
Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage, but not a requirement. Experience with development work and affinity with The Ark movement would be big ‘plusses’.
